Block printed patchwork satin trousers

The silk blockprint patchwork trousers are a reiteration of the original patchwork jacket and is entirely constructed by hand. The making of this piece was a truly archival process as the brand dove deep into a hundred year old prints that had been lost to the test of time and restored these designs using hand carved wooden blocks that were made from scratch. The block printed pieces of fabric were then hand embroidered together in gold inspired by a japanese restoration technique called “kintsugi”. Each piece is truly one of a kind, and an epitome to the DNA of the brand. The trousers pair perfectly as a set with the matching blockprint patchwork jacket.
