“Genesis” oversized kimono

The genesis kimono is inspired by transitory feelings of recovery and loss and is at the heart of the thematic underontes within volume 7. The top half features an in house drafted satin print that is quilted on the outside, whereas the bottom half is a handwoven custom fabric. Together these fabrics depict growth and destruction of the human mind and spirit. The garment fits oversized with flared sleeves, and pairs perfectly with “GENESIS” flared handwoven trousers.
