In this complicated and heavily referential artwork, images of Mohammad Ali Jinnah are interposed between nostalgic iconography, such as the writings and images of critically acclaimed poets, like Sadat Hasan Manto and Sadequain, and famed landmarks like the Malir hotel in Karachi.
